I heard a rumour that zinkie actually sold the car.
kyle i raced against the 51 it is among the top 10 fastest in the division.
on the sunset site i think i saw a 94 civic with a csc cage, never raced for 2500 race ready. if that is the case i think it may be your best bet as it would be nice and new and yours to bend up lol.
also the 40 car at sunset was for sale that was a great car too but i think it's being parted out it was on the sunset site.
good luck
Thanks for the heads up on the 94 civic, however with the 1.6 in it, it has VVT and we can't run that here. >:(
;D so unhook the vvt module and change the valve cover. so it dosent say vtec 8)
If it's a Sunset car there is no Vtec.. not allowed. Also you made a comment about it being a DOHC which is also not allowed at Sunset.
i have a non-vtec 1.6 in mine '92-95....i guess you'd have to change wiring harness and computer too. for another $500-$600 you could probably have it legal for out there. it cost me $5000 (everything included)to build mine getting the car for free with a junkyard motor and paying csc to do the cage and i bought all new brakes and everything else on the car i bought new and the car is really good. you don't need a zc either the one i use is a Y7 block or something it's $400 at the wreckers there is a tonne of them. $3100 or so for a brand new honda mini-stock is a steal if you have the motivation to do the changes.....let us know what you end up getting.
