Bill Campbell won a very long, dragged out, caution filled mini stock feature.  Dave Case won the uneventfull thunder feature, cant remember if they went flag to flag or not.  and jason Witty won a very exciting llm feature over Dario.  oh, and josh nicolson won the pro challange.

I have no clue on the winners of the bike races.

I left early as I mention I was with my daughter and the racing was still going on.

I wil be at Kawartha for the NCATS final race in September.

Evan you of all people should know that you can't make a big post about a great night of racing without at least mentioning the feature results 🙂

So who won eh?

You are also going to have to drive a little further north to check out the action at Barrie Speedway some Saturday and Kawartha some Friday and Varney and Peterborough and Merritiville and Sauble and... 😉

What was with the bad call sending Jayson Brown #25 to the back yes he was involved in the accident. He was along for the ride he was punted by the 88. Nicked Name Black Flag? that means he has done this before and will do it again? They could have kept the racing running without the yellow as they both recovered.

All involved cars to the back......

even tho i got screwed by the 88, i agree with involved cars to the back.  The part that annoyed me other than gettin spun for the lead, was that they threw the caution after i had already saved the car and was well on my way to racing again.  They threw the caution way to fast

Yes I was at Sunset and you see the improvements everytime you go there. They paved the walk way by the stands. Great access for WheelChairs. Not sure if the large Portable bathroom is new but it is great for access for wheelchairs. A lot of people in wheelchairs attend races so get the word out there Sunset that you have Mae improvements to suit their needs. It is going to have to be done anyways as it will be a law soon.

The Stands by turn 3 were opened and I noticed a lot of people over there. Nice large crowd on hand tonight and some great racing. I left early as it was getting late and my daughter was with me.

The bike races were great and the kids loved it and so did the people in the stands.

Only think I would suggest is have the racing start a bit earlier as it is really a late night for kids and they go a bit over wound up when they get tired and the ear buds don't work to cut the noise. you need to get the ear protectors the plastic ones like the guy sold in the souveneer stand beside your booth.

It was great to see the owners active at the track as saw Mark and Linda all over the place talking to people. This make the track feel like a family environment.

Spencer you could have given me the prize for the question for the one about who was the touring series there tonight. I did yell out the correct answer on the stairs many times but I'm OK with ya giving it to a kid anyways.

Another Great trip to sunset and I encourage people to check out the track. Tomorrow they are the only paved track open and the racing starts at 3pm and Yes I knew that answer too.

Thank You Ashley Romano #32 for taking a picture with my daughter as she said she wants to race now. Off to the go kart track this week with her. Too bad you had car troubles tonight as my daughter was cheering for you.

...I don't really think starting earlier is a good idea as some have to work on Saturdays , "fans & drivers".
I suggest you make your kid's mind  :). I always took our kid's and never was any problem, kid's nowadays boss the Adults, time for parents to take the REINS back and be in Control ;D
