Yes I was at Sunset and you see the improvements everytime you go there. They paved the walk way by the stands. Great access for WheelChairs. Not sure if the large Portable bathroom is new but it is great for access for wheelchairs. A lot of people in wheelchairs attend races so get the word out there Sunset that you have Mae improvements to suit their needs. It is going to have to be done anyways as it will be a law soon.

The Stands by turn 3 were opened and I noticed a lot of people over there. Nice large crowd on hand tonight and some great racing. I left early as it was getting late and my daughter was with me.

The bike races were great and the kids loved it and so did the people in the stands.

Only think I would suggest is have the racing start a bit earlier as it is really a late night for kids and they go a bit over wound up when they get tired and the ear buds don't work to cut the noise. you need to get the ear protectors the plastic ones like the guy sold in the souveneer stand beside your booth.

It was great to see the owners active at the track as saw Mark and Linda all over the place talking to people. This make the track feel like a family environment.

Spencer you could have given me the prize for the question for the one about who was the touring series there tonight. I did yell out the correct answer on the stairs many times but I'm OK with ya giving it to a kid anyways.

Another Great trip to sunset and I encourage people to check out the track. Tomorrow they are the only paved track open and the racing starts at 3pm and Yes I knew that answer too.

What was with the bad call sending Jayson Brown #25 to the back yes he was involved in the accident. He was along for the ride he was punted by the 88. Nicked Name Black Flag? that means he has done this before and will do it again? They could have kept the racing running without the yellow as they both recovered.

Thank You Ashley Romano #32 for taking a picture with my daughter as she said she wants to race now. Off to the go kart track this week with her. Too bad you had car troubles tonight as my daughter was cheering for you.

Yes i would have to agree with the above message.  As for the call well it was a good questionable call, but a hard call to make.  I would personally like to say a special "THANK-YOU" to ALL those hard workers that show up every week and make the Great Improvements, that we see done every week at the track.  It will be one of the best, if not the Best track in Ontario for short track racing. Thanks Again to Mark, Linda and the rest of the owners for all you forseeing into the future and planning into the future of racing at " Sunset International Speedway" of the future.

Evan you of all people should know that you can't make a big post about a great night of racing without at least mentioning the feature results 🙂

So who won eh?

You are also going to have to drive a little further north to check out the action at Barrie Speedway some Saturday and Kawartha some Friday and Varney and Peterborough and Merritiville and Sauble and... 😉
