Today in the Sun multiple sources confirmed they are talking but do not wish to reveal it to the world just yet...
While I think that it is sad that such a historic team as Petty Enterprises might be merging with another team, it's better than it completely disappearing... and GEM is a great choice for PE to merge with IMO... And to be quite honest PE is a shadow of it's former greatness... Talk is 4 cars, 1 PE, 3 GEM...
Petty will just have an ownership stake...
the 4th car is Reed Sorenson's who drives for GEM....
