I think the outcry is hilarious, that Grand-Am's going to get messed up now that it's officially under NASCAR control as opposed to being seperate in name only before. Compared to ALMS and compared to where it was pre-Daytona Prototype, the dumbing-down has already happened....

pre nascar grand am had the best broadcasting setup, good car counts ,no chase ,no top 35 ,no cot five chassis and engine manufactures, good exciting races now thanks to the braintrust at nascar they are going to simplify things. i think grand ams days are numbered. nascar hate competition that is why the frances help destroy open wheel racing and now what to attack touring series.
