"CanadianRacer.com" you'v gone to Ohsweken on a normal Friday before?    how long does it take with traffic?  do you use the 407 does it save a lot of time?

I really want to see Ohsweken racing...even just on a normal friday night...but just I would think the traffic going threw Toronto and such would take sooo long and annoying....I know I do it for Kawartha but it's not as far of a drive or as long stretch of heavy traffic as it will be going past Toronto/Airport ect.

No, I haven't made it to a regular Friday. I've only been to Ohsweken's special events. The 407 is definitely the route I would take though, unless I was able to leave really early.

I've wanted to go for a regular Friday but the timing never works out.

Thanks for the info fellas,

I'm thinking of maybe going the end of August...beacuse it is a full show + Ontario Dirt Late Models.

I'm busy the weekend of the Sprint Car Nationals or eles I would go to that..... but just looking at a normal friday...that might be the night to go

3Wide that show in Aug 29 with the Ontario Dirt Late Models should be a good one as the Late Models put on a good show and they are something to watch if you have never seen them before.

as a regular there, the worse part of going is the traffic on the 403 from the "junction" in Burlington until just past Main St in Hamilton. The highway goes from 3 lanes westbound to two lanes for a  1/4 mile and then back to 3 at the Main West exit. You're pretty well homefree after that.
I usually take 403 to the Wilson St exit (Wilson is old Hwy 2). West (left turn at the stoplight at the top of the exit ramp) on Hwy 2 (Wilson) to White Swan Rd (Regional Rd 8) just past Alberton. Left turn on regional road 8 and stay on Regional Rd #8 all the way to Hwy 54 at Onondaga. Left turn on 54 then follow the signs to the track. Signs show you where to turn right on Chiefswood Road. Regional Rd 8 has a tricky left turn at a 3 way junction not far from Onondaga so watch the signs closely. The name changes from White Swan to Painter Rd.

How's the weather down that way anyway?   beacuse if it's anything like it is here it is beautiful out, real shame there was so many rain last night/this morning

also I assume there was no open spot to stick in a make up date(s) ..... or was it just out right cancelled
