Thursday is a travel day for the competitors to get back to the US for the next date on Fri night. I would imagine the out of pocket expenses to the track owners must be horrendus. I hope they are able to absorb it ok .  🙁

"CanadianRacer.com" you'v gone to Ohsweken on a normal Friday before?    how long does it take with traffic?  do you use the 407 does it save a lot of time?

I really want to see Ohsweken racing...even just on a normal friday night...but just I would think the traffic going threw Toronto and such would take sooo long and annoying....I know I do it for Kawartha but it's not as far of a drive or as long stretch of heavy traffic as it will be going past Toronto/Airport ect.

hey 3-wide i go to ohsweken about every friday nite that i can. I live in the newmarket area, and I leave around 5:30 or so and I am always at the track by 7 or little after. If you take the 407 the traffic is nothing, i havent run into a slow down yet this year. I would take it all the way to the 403 in Hamilton, that be the only place it slows down.

Definatley worth the drive, they put on an awsome friday nite show, most nites i am home by midnite or shortly after..

Thanks for the info, I think I'm going to head down one friday night....I just wanna see some racing there....tryed to go for both the WoO shows and damn rain runined both of them....so I might just go on a normal friday.

I see there off this friday...and next friday is no sprints but dirt sportsman....I'm not a huge dirt guy.... is that worth the trip? or should I wait for a night where they are running sprints

Personally i am not a huge sportsman fan, i know there nothing wrong with the cars, but i prefer the sprints, if you are going it definately worth paying the extra to go pitside, check things out, it is 25 bucks with no membership.

I am sure you will enjoy it......
