I think the only one that looks bad here is NASCAR.

"We met in the trailer and determined it was just good hard racing"

WTF does being on probation get ya then?

I think drivers need to start wearing darker gloves in the car.
It sure looked to me that CE turned left right into BK, and this was pretty clear to given the white gloves I could see working the steering wheel as they came down the frontstretch.

And yes, CE has to stand up for himself, but save it for another track, if your given the bump and run, you don't need to flat out wreck someone. If you weren't put in the fence yourself, then you don't need to put someone else in the fence.

Well, as I said, I dont think what Brad did or what Carl did is the issue.

NASCAR has ruled that its "just racin", so according to the scenario they've supplied, Carl didnt do anything wrong. So now Keslowski doesn't have much choice but to return the favor at some point or admit defeat. Thats a bad spot to be in...and its NASCAR that put him there.

So they're the authors of whatever happens next. Hope they're ready to accept responsiblilty for it.

Looks to me like NASCAR is trying to appeal to the "knuckledragger" variety of  fans, and that's a step back that I'm sorry they've chosen to take.

I disagree. Keselowski put himself there. He had an entire race track to choose from going into Turn 1 with Edwards, he decided to bump him outta shape and see if he could grab the lead. Edwards managed to stay with him and returned the favour. NASCAR made the right call. It could have been Hamlin & Busch or X and Y, if the same outcome had occurred, I don't think NASCAR would have made a different ruling....
