I don't think any other angles are required Evan. BK was coming off turn 4 and trying to clear CE. He wasn't quite there, Edwards turned left and dumped him. He said as much. It was payback pure and simple.
Edwards is a DICK. I'll be cheering for the next driver in any series that sticks him in the fence again. His goodie two shoes persona in front of the camera wore thin on me ages ago. Not a fan of Edwards'. He's been on the bad side of quite a few drivers as well.
the problem is probation for a driver is based on the series? So if he is on probation in the Sprint Cup and he did something in the Nationwide it wouldn't get him in trouble. Am I right on this? Just Guessing here.
I think probation (for what little it's worth) is for any of Nascars divisions. Just as suspensions apply to all of Nascar. Not 100% sure of the probations though. Harvick and Robbie Gordon were each sat out of a Cup race for an infraction in the Truck and Busch series races.
I have a different take on this. Twice CE and Brad have gone at it, last time at Atlanta. Carl thought he was clear with Brad that he wasnt going to be pushed around, right or wrong. When Brad drills him again at Gateway, what choice does Carl have BUT to wreck him. Otherwise, it tells Brad and everyone else that Carl has backed down.
Bottom line - If Brad is going to punt Edwards going forward, he better make sure he gets away. If he doesnt, he better not assume that he is not getting it right back.
PS - I am not an Edwards fan in the least. He is a huge phony, and I personally think both Atlanta and Gateway were a little excessive, but I understand the thought process. He is not backing down from this kid.
I think both Kesolowski's really ought to learn that if you are going to fight with the bull, you are going to get the horns sometimes. Dont try to start a fight and complain when the other guy swings back.
