“We are really proud of the work done on the new car ! Of course, the new body is the most spectacular part of it, but our cars never stops improving to deliver to fans and drivers one of the best form of racing in Europe,” said Galpin. “We will unveil within the next weeks more news about other technical evolutions. Current owners will of course be able to update their 2015 car into the 2016 specs. The NWES is probably the best cost effective Series all over Europe and we want to keep it that way !!”
The new bold and aggressive aerodynamic package, inspired from the American NASCAR Sprint Cup Series cars, strengthens the bond between the United States and Europe, especially thanks to the dynamic front section and the adoption of an 8 inches rear spoiler.
Better aerodynamics, improved safety and increased cost effectiveness are the key concepts that drove the development of the new composite body, which will make is on-track debut in 2016. It was designed to further improve EuroNASCAR’s rock-solid reliability and performances, building on a base that allowed the Series to reach in 2015 a full second per lap gain on road courses over last year, thanks also to the consistent tire development brought by Michelin.
While the 2015 season reaches his exticing conclusion, drivers, teams and fans all over Europe are already looking forward to a brilliant future, starting in 2016.
