This is Ercoli’s second season win after the season opener in Valencia, while 17-year-old Delsaux climbed on the podium for the first time in his career.

“It's a dream for me! Winning a NASCAR race on an oval is fabulous, it's just the first step to the USA, but it means we are on the right path!”, said the winner. “I want to thank all the team, they gave me a great car! It was an outstanding weekend and I'm proud to be part of Nocentini’s comeback to Victory Lane! It was possible thanks to the hard work of Double T.”

There was no shortage of action in the race, as Ercoli and Ferrando put up an intense duel for the lead that ended only in the last lap, when Delsaux took advantage of inside line to overtake Ferrando.  The three young talents drove constantly inches from each other side by side, especially on the five restarts that punctuated the Tours Evenements 75.

Salvador Tineo Arroyo (#51 CAAL Racing Chevrolet SS) came from the eight place on the grid to score important points and lead the Rookie Cup by finishing fourth, just in front of Philipp Lietz (#67 GDL Racing Ford Mustang),  who keeps the points leader in sight despite falling 10 points back.

Lietz’s teammate Nicki Petersen (#44 GDL Racing Ford Mustang) ended up sixth, ahead of local hero Pierre Roché (#4 TLC - Leclerc Ford Mustang) and Stéphane Sabates (#55 Whelen - Amaï.fr Chevrolet Camaro), who also won the Gentleman Trophy classification. Florian Renauer (#5 Dexwet Renauer Team Ford Mustang) and Didier Bec (#8 RDV Compétition Ford Mustang) completed the top-10.

Carole Perrin (#54 CAAL Racing Chevrolet SS) brought home the Lady Cup despite a 30 seconds penalty for an avoidable contact and not respecting track limits after ending up seventh under the checkered flag.

Yesterday’s winner Stienes Longin (#11 PK Carsport Chevrolet SS) fell victim of a contact with Guillaume Deflandre (#56 CAAL Racing Chevrolet SS) and had to retire. Deflander was also protagonist of another contact, this time with Francesca Linossi (#99 GDL Racing Ford Mustang), on lap 69, which led to the Green-White-Checkered finish.

The ELITE 2 Division will return to action on September 12-13 at the Autodromo dell’Umbria di Magione, Italy for the first round of the 2015 playoffs.
