Has anyone else heard that Spencer might be doing the announcing at Kawartha this year. It will be a good change to have someone entertaining do the announcing down there.

its not that I know of.
There were talks back and forth between myself and Derek. However they just came too close to the 2008 season because Derek has his two announcers (who do a fine job themselves) coming back this year.
This doesn't mean the door's closed on us working together, but it doesn't look as though I will be at Kawartha for 2008...but for 2009...who knows. I love the facility there and would love to work for Derek in the future.
I will however be doing some travelling outside of Sunset, as I have signed on to announce the Autumn Colours Classic at Peterborough Speedway and I just might have one more big surprise in the works as well.
