--Curley said that the 2010 ACT Late Model Tour schedule is expected to be completed and published by the end of October. The Tour will not return to Kawartha Speedway in Ontario, but will visit "one or two new tracks".
Does this mean that the ACT rules may be loosened at Kawartha or do they get an ACT Castrol event?
Not surprised at this. The stands were dreadfully sparse both years they had the event. I still think a LM event that had rules that allowed Flammy and Delaware cars to be competitive would draw much better than the ACT event. The ACT event was nice but lacked alot of local flavor. Shaw, Hooker et al are what brings the local race fan out.
What i heard, the last drivers meeting,Derek was talking about the uncertainty of kawartha's future, were you at the meeting slapper?
That quote from Curley was taken at the Milk Bowl. Kawartha is scheduled to have 10 race nights next season. Hopefully the old format for the Sizzler will return.
Wonder if Delaware would be on the ACT schelude as they were sucessful this year getting ISMA twice,NCTS race,to name just a few events that drew crowds.Maybe Delaware can put ACT as another new event also who knows maybe ARCA cars make a visit to Delaware with all the renovations that were done and possibly more to come would possibly lure these groups to Delaware.

In the ACT article it mentions the castrol series in Quebec and a stop in Ottawa, no mention of Kawartha.
