I see 46 entries for the race. With a substitute driver will they have to qualify on time or do their owner points get them in.

The "CAR" is in top 35 in points...so no matter who the driver is..they are locked into the show!!

it always goes by owners points.

Actually its the top 30 and it goes much deeper than that. Only the top 30 cars in Owner Points that have ATTEMPTED EVERY RACE this season. There are a few cars like the 16, 17 and 21 that do not fit that bill and do not count towards the top 30. So in real terms the #81 is locked in at about the 27th position with some breathing room f 211 points to the 31st place car
