simple solution. while i do not advocate breaking the law all the above reasons plus more is why i have a Free to air satellite system. i started using them in the mid 90s when race coverage was zero. barrie97 it was not a third rate series that got bumped it was the cup race.
Hill, this has nothing to do with the bumping of the NASCAR race...it has to do with the publicity of the NCATS...and trust me, my three years of university has taught me alot more than you will ever know about Television producing midamerica...look at how many people are registered on this site...this si not a slight....but then go to the blue jays pfficial board, the leafs official board....hell even the argos official board.....go to doo-talk.com...there are 25,000+ members on doo talk and they just started showing snowmobile races on SPEED this year...the viewers couldnt give a rats ass about the NCATS and thats why they dont get any coverage...plain and simple....home economics my ass, i am just not a homer like you guys, but i expect u to be...as you are the nmost hardcore of hardcore race fans....I know lots of ppl show up at the tracks..true saturday night fans...but for most of them...i know they would rather see baseball and hockey on sportscenter....and basketball and even football....than NCATS highlights...its like showing highlights of junior 'A' hockey....i'm sorry, but thats my opinion and i would appreciate you not insult my schooling...i ahd a lot of respect for you mid, until that busch league comment.

A hockey that is fair but when you compare to leafs or blue jays use nascar or f1(as much as that pains me. what my four years at the u of s shows me is that motorsports world wide is second only to soccer in attendance and tv numbers, second point nascar in the states is number two only to football and has had the highest growth numbers granted it has seemed to peak and level as of late. the problem is that we accept the media's premise that we are a bush league sport. fight for your right to be heard the battle is ours to win or lose in this country. but newspapers and mags that promote the sport, write letters to tsn and the crtc do not let the liberal minded leftest media lead you by the nose on this.

actually yes....i ahve one year left and have had three jobs in the media...last eyar i called 6 mississauga icedogs home games for OHL.com...for your info...
In my earlier post i said that the big boys are huge....i don;t care about the states and what is big there...it does apply, but bnot ebntirely...arena football gets bigger ratings than the NHL down there...
And to be fair the media has accepted the fact that the NCATS is nowhere near the 'big5' and as a result will get little to zero coverage...when the NCATS is in Barrie, A Channel should to a thing on it...and they do, but not TSN..i understand you all feel they should as they have this 'TV deal' that shows race weeks after they have been run, which shows how low the priority is for them....
You are all race fans...therefore you will never agree with my point of view, because to you racing is IT! and i can live with that, but sayign that sportscenter should fit the NCATS into their crowded lineup is absurd...especially on Weekends...when everyone is playing...
Also, H3, it appears that we agre on most things as I had a hard time trying to see the point you were making in your originial post that differed from mine...other than the fact that u think TSN should cover NCATS...lol
