get the track owners or promotors to get them to the track. keep pounding them on letters and call ins to the local sport shows, it may take time but do not give up sooner or later you may find one media person that gets it. as to the rest well..........."you cant fix stupid".

Oh trust me I will not give up cause I feel the teams totally deserve some attention from the rest of Canada that aren't diehard race nuts like us.

Absolutely hill3, Give them a little bit of the VIP treatment, It's the same in any type of business, you look after those who can give you the most benefit. It blows me away, how the media in this country is quick to jump on what happens south of the border, and totally ignore things that happen here in Canada!  Most Americans couldn't tell you who the prime minister of Canada is! We live in a Great country, and we have great racing programmes here. maybe if we could get more publicity, then that would solve allot of problems.

well said.hopefully fans start showing this to gm by voting with their feet and wallets and buy elsewhere.

The thing is, if GM did have a change of heart and people were going elsewhere, where would the money come from? By no means am I trying to defend GM, but they could look at that as an easy reason not to sponsor the series...

Good points Silverstone, but I dont think most Canadians can tell you who the Priminister is.
The media helps keep folks like GM and Ford out oif racing here because of the lack of coverage and that is why GM see's no intent to jump into the deal. Hopefully NASCAR Canada and the CTS deal will change the minds of the writers that cover sports and increase the amount of coverage we currently get.
