By my count there actually 7 drivers who participated in Fords over the season - Ranger, Micks, Seibert, Buck, Forth, Ward, Dowler.

According to NASCAR's press releases, there should still be $160,810 to be paid out of the points fund. Adding this to Buford's numbers would make a total payout of $802,750. How does this compare to CASCAR's payout?

It depends on which year as CASCAR was always up and down with sponsorship and car counts, and race events.
I would have to think this year was as equal to any good year in CASCAR, but only numbers can tell.
The stat I would love to see is the offset from what race teams put out and what they recieved as that usually sets the tone for a good season or bad season in the Teams mind. As well, a report say from teh Julias report that gives out the info on what sponsors recieved in airtime and exposure.

Thanks, Old Bill, Ward was the missing ford.

Anyone here of the attendance numbers for each event, cause I think that would also so if there is new interest in the series or is it just the same people coming all the time.  I'd have to say there was a significant increase in attendance but would like to see some hard numbers to back that up.  Not expecting NASCAR to give the true numbers but something would be better then nothing.  It might also help the drivers go their sponsors and say hey look at the increased exposure for your product.
