Just to correct something that you said.  All Nascar officials are paid.  They are paid travel time as well as their time at the track.  It is not a volunteer service.  Dave I would assume was one of the higher paid officials.

Tim, Richard C and Robyn C are fulltime employees.  They are at the Milton office. 

Don't forget he's at Kawartha every Fiday night too. He is always in demand and well respected. He'll have his hands full with the big race in Ottawa this weekend.

HutterPower- I was told by an Official that you guys were no paid, and that is where i got the info from. If you are paid thats great and I appoligise for saying the wrong thing. All in all I still think Davey will be missed.

Its almost common sense, would they really travel all over the country and take time off from their regualr jobs on a volunteer basis?  I know I wouldnt do that to my work.  Its not like they are asking for one or two days off.  They are away a lot.

With Daves experience vs Tim Ellas, I doubt Dave will be missed that much.  I personally think Tim is better suited for the job.  Thats my opinion though.
