NASCAR CANADA STEPS UP PURSE BIG TIME

It was reported today that Nascar Canada, Canadian Tire Series, has expanded its payout purse to the race teams. All teams effective this week will receive a minimum amount of $10,000.00 per event for starting money, on top of that it is reported that the payout structure will be increased by 32% from 1st to last place by 2009.Nascar Canada sees this as a major step forward in doing what is right in the Motorsports Market place and is determined to keep the Teams financially sound, into the future.As the cost of operations has increased, Nascar has taken the approach that they want to take care of the people that take care of them and this exercise of cash injections into the series will bring allot of light onto the Nascar Canadian Tire Series.An Official announcement is expected on Friday, September 19th from Richard Buck, Nascar's Official Manager of the Nascar Touring Series across North America, and is expected to be a very welcome sign to the future of Stock Car Racing in Canada.A very big- Well Done- from race fans across Canada.
