Can you imagine how much money Nascar tucked in its pocket for Tow Truck in a Box ??
Sure the TV got a cut, and more importantly and fitting- Scott " I like running up front" Steckly but they are spending a ton in advertising through Nascar's name.

Another Commercial you mentioned- Lillydale.... How come Canada's largest Chicken Provider is spending money in the Nascar show case, but does not sponsor a car in the Nascar Canadian Tire Series, or invest in the series as a sponsor.

Lets all ask Vic to answer that one and see if he can answer on the air.

I have now sworn to NEVER buy Lillydale chicken. One because the commercial is so damn repetitive (I've sent TSN an email basically indicating this) and that guy! Move the camera up for #### sakes. I really don't want to look up your nose anymore!!!!!
Another commercial I find irratating on the TSN Nascar broadcast is the TSN on Nascar commercial. I'm already watching the race you *&^$&((*^$@!!!!

I'll take the mid nineties coverage of Cup races anyday over the dumbified crud they do these days.  Remember the old ESPN coverage with the likes of Bob Jenkins, Benny Parsons and Ned Jarrett?  Those were the days.

And if they play the "draft lock" one...more...time...grrrr!!!

I love watching JR with that "Back in the Day" show he does. Every time I watch it I find myself saying "oh I remember that". When those cars raced they didn't seem so old looking to me then and I never remembered my colour looking so red/brown.

As far as new Nascar. I hate the car of tomorrow or today or whatever that is. They look like euro road course cars and the carnival around Nascar is like wrestling.

I have tuned into Speed Channel and seen some of the short track racing from Texas and it is awesome.. dirty, gritty and real complete with spinning the leader on last lap stuff. Second to that I love watching the Barrie Speedway races because it is real racing. Just some hard working guys trying to go out and have some fun not Mr Corp with his hand in my pocket trying to get me to buy chicken.
