The last 6 months l have lerned the reason nascar /cascar has never realy grown is that the average grass roots racin fan has never got behind the series,now all they are yaping about is the sponsors want this the sponsors want that, what about most of the teams they still strugle to get sponsors how is it going to grow with such a small fan base.The series has always been to busy trying to stroke there own sponsors insted of trying to create fans,the fact is there are only so many race fans in Canada and most of them aint cascar nascar fans . In fact the more you listen and read (this site) the more you hear people that really hate the series big time even on the new race line radio show fans are asking the anoucers not to discus nascar cts to much,could it be because they are scared of geting smothered by the big show or is it because the majoraty (not all) of the drivers,owners and crews are arrogent ***** ? or is it because as l was told we are all jealous Saturday nite wanabee's

Sue, I don't think calling the drivers, crews, and owners arrogant ****** is called for. In fact knowing Scott Steckly, in addition to a few of his crew members for as long as I have... Which is about 5 years, I can safely say that these guys are hardly arrogant. Truth be told, they’re great guys who work full time jobs during the off season.

Thats a good one a lot of people have got behind the series and people talking about the series bad or good helps as sponsors see people are talking about it.
