I am deciding between heading to try grand bend that weekend or running oktoberfest....

I know all the talk has been about The BIG show at Peterborough at the end of the year..but we also can't forget about Oktoberfest and Flamboro...anybody know who is planing on attending that show?     It will be my first year attending Oktoberfest..looking forward to 2 weeks back to back with Oktoberfest & Autumn Colours  ;D

I think I am going to try it. Would be 3rd inline between AC and Barrie.

A bit of an aside... I'm kinda getting tired of all the weekend 2 day events. Yeah its good once in a while, but if I want to race after the end of Kawartha, its only weekend events. Varny, Barrie, Flamborough and AC. AS nice as one weekend, all weekend party and race is, it s abit much to run all that. Either camping, sleeping sweaty and greasy without a shower in a tent, or blowing $150 on a room risking getting my tools and gear stolen. To run all 4 would mean a MONTH of weekends away (well atleast I live close enough to AC to be able to go home)..... Not to mention with the rain this year, getting 2 days without it....

Maybe promoters, its time to think about starting the racing earlier in the day, with the features run at night. Can't get all the classes in, then split them. Sat day is thunder and 4-fun heat and qulifying, sat night is their features, Sunday is LLM and Mini, night is their feature....

Im headin to Lee Usa Speedway that weekend
