great day for racing....about 250 in the grandstand...
numbers approximate....39 minis, 26 thunders, 15 supers.....i was told 10 to 12 limited lates....no idea latemodels...
show was run pretty smooth, started at 3 and ended around 8
things to mention...minis 16 valves had to add 100 pounds and always started tail, had one set of heats and 2 consis...
stompin tom showed up but broke in a qualifying heat...last chance for thunders, limited lates and late model tomorrow....
supers saw the 7T wreck big in heats...feature started 13 with hanley on pole...he led all the wall finishing a straightaway ahead of a group of 6 cars...#40 second and then #88....watson had a smoking left front the whole race, he finish 5th i believe....a follow the leader borefest....i didnt see many races as we had our own problems...lol....but everyone seemed to enjoy the show and the fact they could get home to see the nascar race...or the leafs. 😉

Sounds like it went pretty smooth.

Thats pretty weak LLM count, not to suprised though.

Thunder count seems down from normal as well.

no idea on LM #?

Hopefully tomorrow goes smooth as well.  Thanks for the update

everyone seems to think that 10 nissan is the car to beat in minis...he was just cruising and watching in his mirror 1/2 way thru his heat making sure the volvo and 3 rabbits didnt get too close...lol.

there were a few cars from sauble and a rumour going around that sauble is in big trouble after the year they had and that its closing...wont say exactly what i heard.

flamboro announced a "frostfest" for minis and thundercars on sunday november 1st

Thanks for the update...14 is a far cry from the 29 they had last year, I'm sure a few more will roll in today, but I think even getting 20 will be a long shot.
