weather was great again for racing...started at 3 and ended just after 6 pm...about 300 fans.

first late model feature...17 cars started...this was a great race with some nice passing and some dicing but paul howse had them covered because scott lyons held everyone else up...finish was 8 paul howse, 52 scott lyons, 95 simone, 38 hooker and then 82 jake shaw...

then limited late models...10 cars...borefest...10 shepherd led from green to checkers...the 35 car challenged him a few times but finished second...stompin tom was 3rd and the only excitement was watching watson come up thru the small field and then ride tom's bumper from lap 20 to the finish...he was all over him almost had he turned once, but the vet held him off....lap 19 the #24 went around and not sure if the yellow flag wasnt fast enough or they didnt see but some back marker collided to avoid hitting him but parsons nailed pretty close to headon, and he was done....

thunders cars were next...24 cars started, i think 5 missed the cut...29 chenoweth was pole with 72 monette beside him and they were first and second the whole race, with some crashing and banging going on thru the pack...i didnt see the end as i was lining up myself (for no reason...lol), and when i got back too the pits i hear than 72 turned the 29 on the last lap...so the finish was 72 russnell, 89 bob chenoweth, 9, 8, 13....after the race the 29 went thru the pit and drove right into the passenger side of the 72...

mini stocks next....30 cars started...3 missed the cut (more on that later)...the 10 nissan as i said yesterday had everyone covered...from what i heard his track rules for his car weighs legally 600 pounds less than the car than runs flamboro regular...someone is looking into that...lol...anyways he had everyone covered...second was the 71 rabbitt from sauble, 15 matt dean honda, 50 rabbitt from sauble, 31 dave bailey, 59 toyota from sauble....

hobbies were next...only 9 cars...but the first 5 put on a great show racing bumper to bumper, made some great passes...the 0 made his way to second and was putting pressure on the 81 of shaw for a number of laps and on the white flag lap going into 2 his right rear axle or something broke and banged the wall at the pit exit...first 3 were 81 shaw, 18 and 57.

final race was second latemodel race....17 started...shaw and hooker on front row...again it was the same guys at the front except lyons got out of the groove and fell back a number of spots...he didnt hesitate to use his bumper to get to the front...people that i watched with all laughed how he held up shaw, simone and hooker in the first race but they never turned him, but after a few laps he turned the 8 sauble falls car and then he ended in the grass himself with guys piling up behind him...but to the shock of all of us lyone  got his spot back..lol...another part of the race, 95 simone slides into 3 and almost hits the wall with a rf flat, and stops in 4...caution falls...this is something we have seen many many many times...but as simone heads pit side they give him the black flag...lol... like come on?...everyone does this....there were a couple of other stupid calls in this one....but we decided of all the racing this weekend this was the only race we could think of that the officials screwed up...so the finish was 8 paul howse, 82 shaw, 38 hooker...

now back to the minis...if you were there saturday or sunday and werent qualified for the A feature they would have ran a B, but since there werent enough the 3 cars that stayed got $25 for being there sunday atleast

next on the schedule...sunday november 1 st "Frostfest" for thunders and minis...more info to come on the web site.

the Lyons thing really smacked of home track favourtism. Also, Watson 02 and Simone both got flats in the second 50 as the cleanup guys missed pieces of brake rotor from the 9 car in corner one.
Cheers for the 5 or 6 Delaware regular lm's who showed-Boo's for the 5 or 6 Flammy regulars that didn't. Tire rules varying from track to track are going to continue to keep fields small. (after getting a flat while running third, Mark Watson only had one spare and the stagger wouldn't have worked. Outside drivers shouldn't be forced to buy 6-8 tires for a one day show that pays badly)
Rumour was that a driver couldn't drive more than one class in one day. Is that why Brandon Watson only drove his limited car, and not his late model? Anyone know for sure?.
Almost no outside TC drivers at all (Nice to see that 55 Pontiac win the last chance race though)
JMO
ps-I couldn't believe that god awful restart during the llm feature. I don't know if Shepherd brake checked or spun the tires but it should have been waved off.
Good Points: 50/50 was around $700. Souvenir programs were free (Thanks)

Was a good day..... moved threw the program quick.

TC Feature .....had to see that comming....Monette was all over him the last few laps, tryed highside cound't make it work...then dived into turn-3..... 29 cutdown, and the right call was made...if you ask me.   Some people may say 29 got spun so he should have won, but he deffently cut down....  some people may say the 72x should win...beacuse he got under the 29 on the last lap...but he did kind of dive bome the 3rd turn.     The right call was made giving the 3rd place car the win.

Burnout of the year may go to Russnell after the win haha.

The 2nd LM Feature.... WHY did the 52 get his spot back?????      and maybe if 95 was in turn 1-2 and stoped.... when he could have maybe drove it into the pits...I understand....but in turn-3???   pretty hard to get back to the pits with a RF flat.

and the LLM maybe should be droped.....10 cars...I think only like 6 finished.

The TC LCQ was a crazy finish.... I'm not even sure what happend...but it looked like the 5 cut a tire down comming out of 2.  then 2 other cars wrecked in turn-4 for the final transferspot..... and the 5 limed around and beat another damaged car to the line for the final spot.
