Its too bad because Dave has many fans at Flamboro, myself included, and i'm sure they too were disappointed to see him pull off. Â
And a thumbs up too the #22 cuz after he landed after he climbed the wall, he just slowed for a second to make sure the car would still steer and continued on his way when he could have sat, brought out another yellow and took it to the pits for adjustments.
Quote from post made by Gary Elliott on the "unofficial" Flamboro chat site regarding Maginnis's car...
"I've never in 5 years with the Late Models seen a car so much faster than the top 6 that run on a regular basis."
Crash - Disappointing the fans was the biggest drawback we had about not running the race. David appreciates all the support he has from the fans. We had a lot of people come by to say hello in the pits and say they were glad we were back. Some of our best races have been when David started at the back of the pack. But, after more than 2 years of BS from the track officials, we'd had enough and decided we were done with Flamboro.
We hope you and David's other fans will make the trek out to Delaware some Friday night. The racing is exciting and the track is first class!
who is running the crate engine and who is running a built??Iam sure if you have a built engine, you will beat up on the crate.imo
Brett, there is no reason at all to not race, you travel to the race track for 1 thing.Big deal,he got black flag, get out in the feature and kick some ass.
I have lost respect of the 37 car and team, doesnt look good at all for his sponser.Iam sure his father would never pull a stunt like that, with his sponser's name on the car.He needed to overcome that, and show his fans what he is made of,not what he did.
But hey,iam still a fan of his father's,hard core racer and a stand up man,
plus,i beleive that race is going to be played on t.v. friday night at 9,not sure of the channel.Everyone can see for themselfs!!
