Couple of points here first being the #14 car is a legal Delaware Car and it was legal when it was presented to Flamboro on Friday. I have worked on this car and have crewed for JR and I will stand beside him and say he is man of his word.
I'm tired of the crap I here about the difference between Flammy and Delaware cars. The difference is not as big as one would think, as far as costs are concerned. I have built cars for both tracks and I can speak from experience. This of course is a generalization on the cars as a whole. The #14 is an exception as it is the newest car built to the changes that the Delaware Race Director approved.
As a side note this car was beaten by a Sunset car a couple of weeks ago. I'm surprised nobody has issue with Russnel as he came in second place. It 's how you look at it you can put slope on it anyway you want but in the end JR won fair and square.
Kevin Heist came to Delaware last year and he ran as good as any metric there with a 4 link and manifolds!!! I'd really love to see allot more Flammy guys try Delaware and see it ain't the cars! Silverthorn was also there one night with his Flammy car and ran third! in the feature. Lots to think about
Here are some samples photos from Friday - i'll post more
when they're all online. More now on www.racepulse.com

good point jwo .. the only reason the 14 car won the last race was because he started up front.. i sure do like how he shifts gears thou from 3 rd to 4 th on the restarts.. sounds just like a canadian tire car..
one question thou.. the 14 car won the feature at sauble a few weeks ago.. the 36 car finished 2nd.. then the 36 was paid the full amout for the win.. what was the 14 car DQ D for ??
i will be cheering for the 14 at delaware for the summer showdown.. I know you can beat the busch brothers.. cheers !!
Apparently my posts are contradicting. So here is one to clarify them. The show itself was good, the racing was decent, the Stars should have had better equipment. The way the show was ran was CRAP. PERIOD. The 50lb penalty for the tire was BS. The time between races was ridiculous. The tech shed was infuriating as usual. As far as JR winning, I like JR and all the guys involved there. The car he brings is a little over the top. (all the bickering about the demise of the class, this car is a perfect example) Not that he kills everyone with it every time but its hard to compete legally against it with your everyday SS. When he wins many are annoyed, not with JR but with the way the class is heading. The car itself and the rules that allow it are driving many to rethink, and I dont mean quitting. The next generation of SS are going to be crazy.
I am surprised Randy did as well as he did because he has struggled to date at Sunset barely making the top 5 but he is getting better. I know he is a long term champ at Flamboro!
