The number of people attending wasnt near standing room of years back, maybe because latemodels and thunders have had some meetings earlier and know all they need.
Just a few highlights...
The schedule is not complete yet, looking at March for a release...
Practise day April 16th, $5 per person admission...
Opening nite April 23rd...
Drivers will draw for starting positions opening night and then every night after will be by points average, a throw back to years past....low point cars first heat, higher point cars the next, top points last heat...
Back gate will be $25...$30 for specials...joking they said all nights will not be special...
Latemodels will run a softer left side tire...
Grisdale will once again sponsor the latemodels and the Grisdale triple crown races...
Perfect attendance award monies of $8000 for latemodels, $5000 for thundercars and $2000 for mini stocks...monies divided between all drivers that acheive perfect attendance...i believe someone said only 4 latemodels did that last year...
This money put up by divison sponsors...Grisdale/latemodels, Freedom Village/thunders, Ponderosa Nature Resort/minis, they said mini drivers dont have to drive nude..lol..
No new class or dividing of the mini class as rumoured...same rules..
