$15.00 is too much for a show made up of support divisions. $15.00 is what Ohsweken is charging for the Summer Sprint Car Nationals which will have 40 sprint cars and pay $3000.00 to win, $300.00 to start.
As far as radio ads, it's a lost cause in this oversaturated market. A lot of us still read the sports section of the local paper every day. The only track that seems to advertise in the Spec is the Drag Strip at Cayuga

I dont think the radio ads are a lost cause.FM 107.9 is a hamilton area station,i listen to it in the Brampton/Miss area.Covers a large area,but what do i know,maybe i notice the ad,cause iam a motorhead ;D ;D ;D

you're right Larue. Probably the same reason I listen to 91.7 Giant FM as Merrittville and Humberstone have ads on there also.

02 was DQ'd so Mat Dean wins, the 3 was like yourself hungry and was getting food when they started lining up and why he was late on the track i heard.

talking about food and racing, i was reading an article that said racers shouldnt eat before a race because in a hard collision the food could be forced back up and get stuck in your throat and cause the driver to start chocking....supposedly this has happened....just something to think about when you warf down that sausage before the feature.
