My few thoughts -
- I thought the show this year was actually pretty good despite all the wrecks. There was actually some pretty good racing at times and a lot of the problems were caused by driver impatience as much as the limitations of the track. I was quite impressed by the fields of cars in all divisions.
- There were some comments about the small number of fans. I think the weather had a lot to do with it but as others have pointed out there are a couple of things different at Flamboro. The stands are much bigger than most tracks so what looks like a small crowd would look like a good turnout at other tracks and the people who would be in the grandstand at some tracks (wives, kids & friends) are in the pits at Flamboro.
- I don't think there will be a major track upgrade as long as John & Frank own the track. At their age, I don't think they would want to invest the money required. Even if a new owner or investors came along I don't think the city or the neighbors would allow a major track expansion.
- I think you have to look at other ways to make passing a little less risky. For the Late Models I still wonder if the answer might be smaller 102" wheel base cars like run at Lake Erie and some other places. I still remember the car that Shane McGinnis had a few years ago. He seemed to get around the track pretty good.

I have seen the dirt mods on the dirt tires at airborne and at albany saratoga and they were both good shows. They would run well at flammy left front hiked up in the air and all
