Flamboro Oktoberfest results - JR Fitzpatrick won the 1st LM feature,
Mike Bentley won the LLM feature, Randy Rusnesll won the Thunder Car

the 2nd LM feature, and the overall win. I shot a lot of photos, but

Computers are a pain...
edit...
i did shoot the results blackboards, but i lost a hard drive on
my photo computer and can't do any updates. Stupid machines.
who survived to win the 2nd pro late feature ???
i never seen so many torn up race cars all year..
Mc colls will be busy this winter
the first pro lates race was a joke...even the announcer was calling it wrecktoberfest...jokingly mentioned how after all the other features that these guys have to do this again...i think 4 cars of the 23 finished it without damage...then the thundercars come out wrecking right from the start...even the 11 or 12 limited lates feature had some crashing, highlighted by the appearance of stompin tom...high 5's to all those late model crews that worked so hard to get their cars, some taken off on flatbed, back out for the second feature tho a couple looked like modifieds...1/2 the 350 fans in stands had had enough by then tho...
All things considered, I still thought it was a pretty good show, and didn't mind the 2 hours there and 2 hours home I travelled to see it. Considering the mess they made in the first late model 50 lapper, I was very impressed that they still got 19 of the 22 back out for the second race. The 8 or 9 that ran most of the LLM laps trying to catch Bentley, I found that one a little less entertaining then the great view of the bottom of a few cars I got riding the wall into turn 1 (very glad no one was hurt).
All and all, considering the only racing I will get to see until next spring, is on TV, I enjoyed the show greatly( and froze to death, but lesson learned for next year) 🙂
Just one fan's opinion!
ya the fans got plenty of opportunities to see the undersides of cars...the one with the 44 of laking going along the wall taking out the new winners sign brings out a red...then he climbs out and walks around the corner to the 78 (WATSON?), looks in the passenger side and rips out his wires..then the 78 has to get out under a red flag and fix his wiring and the track has to take time to decide if the 78 is DQ'd or not for working on his car...
