just an update on Britt (SHE IS DOING FINE)
nothing broke or cut or brused, she has pain in her hip,lower back and back on neck and a big goose egg on the back of her head. from what i can see the tire first impact was the seat of the grandstand and struck her back and side i herd the tire hit and broke the grandstand...thanks too everybody who attended on seen.thanks to mike dalou for making her laugh and linda deen for assisting and special thanks to the lady that administered "c spine" in the stands...she is staying over night at Mac for observation but seems to be ok for the most part....her first question in the amblance"was the race over and did Lane beat Billy or Billy beat Lane"

thundercar 11 is driver dave osbourne, the driver of that car, and he is also the turn 2 corner saftey man at ohsweken...from what i understand it was his daughter...this is the 3rd tire this year to go over the wall that i can recall, all on the pit side and luckily no one has been seriously injured...last year a TQ hit the turn one wall and we figured that tire went 25 ft in the air and landed in the middle of the mini pit area flying over the first bunch of cars and haulers parked at the fence.

I remember hearing abiout that. Didnt it go all the way over to the mini stock pits?

But, unfortunately unless they cover the track entirely, that stuff will happen. Just glad she's OK.

the tire finished on the other side of the pit after a couple of bounces ad a roll...about the only fence that would have stopped that one would have been at ohsweken me thinks...yes glad she is ok.
