Packed house for the meeting on Sunday.
Alot of new drivers signing up and a few old faces contemplating a return. I could mention some of them but they might want to make their own announcements.
Not too many changes if any I heard in the late models or thunders. I wasnt at either meeting, but thats what I heard. Maybe someone that did could say for sure.

Season will start April 26.
Mini stocks, Thundercars, Late models will be the regulars.
All shows will be on Saturdays except the Octoberfest weekend.
But this year there are a number of Sunday rain out dates added.
Grisdale Triple Crown will be back for 3 nites.
WWS is suspended till further notice due to lack of sponsorship.
24 nights of point racing, 18 best nights will count towards your point total.
All visiting cars must run to Flamboro rules.
All "King of the Hill" races will be trucks only, no cars at all.
Mini stocks will now qualify 30 cars for the feature and run 25 laps.
Mini Champion's championship payoff is up from $500 to $800.
J.P. Paxton, the chairman of the meeting, will be the announcer and webmaster this season. He stated the site will be maintained weekly with order of finishes Sunday, and race reports and point updates by Wednesday nites. Also the site will have driver info for each driver and a link to the drivers web site, if they have one.
Thundercars "Hoosiers" will be $110. Late models "Americans" $145.
First night draw for starts.
The lineup for heats after first night will be on driver averages.
I believe the pole qualifier will roll something to decide the feature start invert. Now to be honest not sure if that was every night or a special. I got lost at this point because of all the talk around me about DQ issues, so maybe some else can clarify and add anything I have missed, which I'm sure I did.
Any questions, issues, requests, ideas are to submitted in writing for next season only. The rules are the rules for 2008.
Meeting ajourned, pizza was served.

It was explained that...if you dont have a radio...and when they do the relining...if you arent in the right position on the restart, you will be black flagged.
Now you would have too hope the race goes caution free for that.
Plus, if you have been there you kno they line up the cars way too early and guys get out and walk up to the fence to watch the races, so they park cars all over to make way for who ever is parked down there...and this causes each nite for the cars too go out on the track in the wrong order too, so u could get blackflagged on the original start.
Plus any visiting cars must run Flamboro rules. I think Octoberfest would be different.
