I have been noticing that the officials are handing out black flags left and right this year. At the Showdown there must have been 10 black flags given out and tonight (July 9th) Jason Lidster was robbed of a win. They said Lidster was driving rough. I do beleive that bump and runs have been a part of racing since day one. Bump and runs are what make racing exciting. Just because you do it a few times in a race I don't think it makes a difference. As a fan I honestly like the bumping as most do. If they keep black flagging everyone nobody is going to want to race.
All I am saying is ease down on the black flags. Leave your input please.
this year is the most black flags that they have used for the 3 years i have been going and i mean a good bump n run is good but tonight the top three trucks crashed and no black flag to the person who made it so my inout is to keep using them and racing wont be like what it has been for 2 or 3 years
I think they made the right call....good job Delaware, to me I think its sets a precedence for everyone else. If your that much faster try the outside? Now thats racing!
i never post on here but i feel it is needed here. that was a crappy call. did the 11 car bump and run? absolutly... but he didnt spin him. heck the 76 hardly lost car lengths.tons of have won and lost races that way. does it suck when you loose that way? absolutly. been there done that but guys have been winning that way since the begining of time. i am sure i have a lot of trophies i have to give back if thats that case. hell, someone needs to go to kyle bushes and get that trophie back too and give it to DJ for that matter..as for the arguement that the 11 car did it to a few others on his way to the front? then black flag him on the first one ... or the second... but i saw no black flag...earnhardt sr would have a half empty trophie case if this were a rule... or anyone that won at bristol....if you spin him then you go to the back but that move i saw was text book perfect.
wouldnt let me post more.... anyways.. if thats the way they are going to make that call then the racing world is in a ton of trouble...someone needs to step up and admit they made a mistake and reverse that call... i know and we all know that wont happen but still...i have never seen that call made in the past 30 some years i have been watching races and dont expect to ever see it again...i feel for the 76 team but if the shoe were on the other foot i am sure they would agree...i asked if i could protest even if i didnt race that division and was told i could but they would probably just rip it up so here i am on here instead... thats my rant...sorry... see yall next fri...
