87-Kallies goes around on the backstretch and goes rear-first into the inner wall, but not too badly. Caution there. Up front, Smiling Stephen grabs top spot from 6-Veira, only to have it taken away a couple laps later by 82-Demelo. Not long after, the 24 car slips on a banana peel between 3 and 4 and goes 360.
1st to Demelo, 2nd to Limon, 3rd to Viera

MRA//Powerade Modifieds 2
Won By Shipway, 2nd to Saunders, 3rd to Hendricks

Demar Aggregates Truck Feature

Clark, having a pretty decent night, grabs the early lead, but is caught soom by Bloemendal who takes top spot on lap 4. He's floowed closely by 15-March and Blue Thunder Triska. Fothergill and Showler both waste no time battling towards the front and are fighting it out for 3rd with March when the caution flies for Gemmel. At the same time the 16 truck goes up in a plume of transmission smoke.

Now after the restart, Fothergill is into 2nd and fighting Bloemendal for top spot. He makes the pass and Showler follows him through. 82-McCaw and and 55-Adraiensen are into the fray now. and at lap 17, Adraeinsen has some contact with 99-Koricina and goes around.

Now after the restart its 33, 56, 01, then a side by side run between McCaw and March that ends with McCaw going 360 in Turn 1. Up front, Showler gets into Fothergill and sends him spinning, and it also catches the 01 who ends up sitting dead on the track. Both Showler and Fothergill are sent to the back.

So after the reshuffle and the restart, Its 99-Koricina in front followed by Cole Powell in the Howard 31 truck, then 75-Depuis, Clark and Zagarodny. It doesnt take long before both Fothergill and Showler have worked their ways forward again and as the race winds down, are battling 00-Johns for 6th.

Powell is right on Koricina and rubs her a couple of times, but not getting too rambunctious because Depuis is on his bumper. It comes down to a last lap affar. Koricina has it going into 3. Coming out of turn 4, Powell gives her one last rub. She drifts up and Powell tries to make a move alongside but he can't because coming to the stripe, Depuis gets beside hime and they lean on each other hard while croissing the line. They cross the line three wide.
1st to Koricina by about half a hood, and a photo finish for 2nd which Depuis wins. 3rd to Powell, 4th to Clark, 5th to Johns.

Super Stock Feature

Sheilds takes the lead off the hop followed by Reid, Nagy, then a side by side duel between Fitzpatrick and Lake. Fitzpatrick drifts up a bit giving Lake 4th spot and Ott flowws him through. First caution flies on lap 3 when 17 Anderton spins out.
After the restart its still Sheilds and Reid, with a 3 way battlle for third between Ott, Lake and Nagy. Likewise, right behind them is another three way fight going on between 84-Smith, 11-Lidster and Fitzpatrick. By the halfway marker, 76 has made the pass and the order is 76-7 way in front, followed by 99-77-60-84-11. Lake gets into Nagy a bit drifting them both high, and Otts gets through for 3rd. Lidster is on a mission now and bulls his way past most of them and in the closing laps, he's caught Sheilds. Lidster gives Sheilds the bump and run and now hes in 2nd. Sheilds drifts high and out of line.

Now Lidster is right on Reid's tail. On the last lap, Reid goes a little high into 1 and 2. Lidster tags him and forces Reid up to make the pass. At the checkers its Lidster followed by Reid, but they're waving both the black and the checkers. No win for Lidster. (IMO, I wouldn't have called it an absolute black flag call, but it was definitely an iffy one. Reid drifted high enough on his own that Lidster probably would have won even if he hadn't hit him. I might have let it go.)

1st to Reid, 2nd to Ott, 3rd to Lawrence, 4th to Lake, 5th to Smith.

MRA/Powerade Modified Feature

54-Limon gets the early lead as the polesitter Viera slows up and holds up the entire inside lane. Once it all shakes out its Limon, 70-Saunders, 38-Hendricks, 3-Cox, 39-McCullough, 1-Newman, 88-Shipway.  Cox makes a power move on the outside to pass both Hendricks and Saunders to take 2nd, and the first caution flies with Hendricks looping in turn 1.

Off the restart, 88-Shippy pulls a power move of his own jumping into 3rd spot, but there's a second caution for Saunders and Richmond who are having a problem in turn 3.
In the end, the win goes to Cox, 2nd to McCullough, 3rd to Shipway, 4th to Demelo, 5th to Newman

Hey great job Michelle! She did an awsome job of staying patient and keeping her nose (and butt) out of trouble. She was taking allot of abuse from behind and she managed to keep her cool to bring it home. A well deserved win for a well deserving lady!!

It was a great win indeed for the 99!  ;D ;D ;D

On a side note: The #19 Modified of Dean Scott took one of the hardest hits we have seen in a long while. His throttle hung going into 1 and obliterated the car, sending it 5 feet into the air in Practice. Luckily he was alright but the car is toast.

I bet he's sore all over. Cars can be replaced, drivers and crew can't.... I know that doesn't mean much, but it's true! I've always believed in throttle stops and steering wheel kill switches. The stops help a driver 'pull' back a stuck throttle and kill switches obviously do their thing.
