Heh. You're about right. For the record, I've never had anything to do with the Dipstick program and have never worn the Dipstick suit, but I've had a lot of experience doing that stuff in those types of suits. You have to make sure you pop a breath mint first or you get a real good dose of what your own breath smells like. Mind you the mouth on Dipstick looks big enough to ventilate the head pretty well.

I still say its a pretty fun, and more importantly, UN-threatening interactive addition for the kids, in spite of what our resident trolls say about it. (It boggles my mind that there's people that are cynical enough to even find negativity in something like this.)

And just by the way.....that looks like a topnotch suit. That's not an amateur job, and likely cost a few thou to have made.

Only real flaw in it is if you fall. Its boxy enough that you likely can't get up again on your own. You'd always need a handler with you in case you fall....which will happen from time to time if you're doing the job well. See the below photo.  🙂

This comes to us courtesy of Crazylady. Not sure how old the pic is but in her words:  "The photo was from Dipstick's debut at the London Knights Game and he wiped out on the Zamboni stripe and froze to the rink.  Couldn’t have written that material!"

-Note from Shadow....I think its hilarious that the track people are standing taking pics instead of helping the poor guy peel his ass off the ice  😀  Thanks for the photo Janice!

The photo is from 2002. That is little Stephen Richmond trying to help him up, along with Kevin Bulmer.  When a guy can't bend in the middle, it makes for some interesting moments.
