On a side note. How about bringing back the all truck KOTH.
Any thoughts?

Open the spectator gates earlier so those who desire can see a little more of the practice session?

Better yet, run practice right up until 7:45 like in the old days. Maybe 7:30 if its really necessary to have a driver's meeting every week.

I could never understand why they need that dead hour between 7 and 8. I'd think they would want to have engines a-roaring while the folks are walking up to the windows. I can rememebr as a kid getting up to the gate and running over to the fence, pushing my face against it just to get a glimpse of whoever was practicing. And I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure we never showed up more than a half hour before race time.

But then, it might have soemthing to do with the golf course too. Whenever I mentioned it to anyone, I always got the impression it wasn't an option.

I only attend once a year for the APC 300.....seeing as it's close to a 3 hour drive so I can only comment on that day,  but I would love to see one of the other Delaware divisions on the card.    for example....

300 Time Trials
XX Division Heats
300-Twin Quilfying Races
XX Divison Feature
300-Feature.

I would rather rug it looking at the tire than the end of the wall. By the way I have been parked on the tire thanks to the brake check and the car behind me not checking up in time.

Your right tho Ernie, from the hill it looks like its real close. However the fast way off four is to aim for it, hammer down and float it up off to the wall.

Would it not be better to have pit in on turn three or part way down the back stretch with an inside wall for both safety and competition?

that grass on the inside of 3 and 4 comes in awful handy sometimes, and i haven't seen anything major happen when that tire gets hit, seems like it does a good job.

I'll agree on the grass in 3/4, keep it. By putting up another wall it'd just give us something hard to hit.
As for the tire, I didn't know there was one.

We have an inside wall at Barrie in 3/4 and I love it...keeps the daredevils from being stupid, also makes the track look better too cosmetically.....way less dive-bombing into 3/4 than there is into 1/2
