to tigeraid: i agree with aswales...you can't put a price on safety...your life is worth more than a couple hundred bucks...shop around deals are out there..get a good seat..you will thank yourself in a bad accident...p.s.  your car doesn't know how it got to the track..we love it when we spank the guys you show up with the big haulers..spend your money on your car and setup..your trailer or hauler don't make you fast or handle good

Yes, I know, I was just ranting about the cost of things more than anything else.  I have a decent seat in it right now, it's just not a containment seat.  I'm gonna try and save up and get that add-on kit from Allstar that basically lets you build your own containment seat.

And yes, obviously I don't need an enclosed trailer.  It was a joke.

As far as Super Stock, there a few minor rules that bother me in terms of keeping the costs down, part of why I didn't make it out this year.  Things like having to run a lexan windshield instead of glass (does any other track even require that?) and needing a 3-link rear to keep up...

And feeling embarassed that I won't have a $1500 containment seat and a $1200 HANS device and a $10,000 enclosed trailer like everyone else does...

But that's just me being used to the comparatively-cheap Street Stocks we raced in North Bay, I guess.

I agree on the Trucks being permitted to run standards, and also running street tires.  Delaware, as far as I'm concerned, doesn't HAVE an entry-level class (the Chaos Cars aren't really a racing class in a true sense, entertaining or not), because the Trucks don't have rules that are entry-level in nature.  I think street tires would be a big step in the right direction for them.  The Trucks really ought to be the biggest field week in and week out, but they're not, and I think that's why.

You don't need to be embarassed our hans is used and we tow with an open trailer and our seat is just a cheapie with bolt ons. You need to be on the track and getting your seat time in. I'd a gave you a lexan windhield if you had asked for one ;D
