Has delaware ticked off Inside Track magazine? We have no coverage or sponsor appreciation pictures. We did run their stickers all year. I love looking at Inside Track magazine, when us local boys are in it.

yes i noticed that! our track got in it but the whole speedway page is taken up by a young talent from our track. It would have been nice to add some other stuff from our track as there are plenty more then just one driver!!! lol

Hey, you're lucky. My local track, Capital City, hardly ever makes the pages of Inside Track. But I don't think that's due to any prejudice on the part of the magazine.
Specialty magazines are a tough business, especially in a small market like Canada. I doubt that Inside Track has a big staff of paid reporters to send out to every speedway. I think it's always been that way with Canadian racing publications. That's how it was with PRN back in the pre-glossy days when it had good short track coverage. That's how it was with Wheelspin News. My guess is that Inside Track prints what it can get. If it has a local source and that person sends in the info well before deadline, then it gets in. If not, it doesn't. Features about drivers can be prepared further in advance. Hey, I'd love to see a feature about a CCS driver....so count your blessings.

What I'd really like to know from Greg is this: what SHOULD a track do to get coverage in Inside Track? How can the people at the track make it easier for Inside Track to provide that coverage?
well i am pretty sure the write ups in the magazine they do about Barrie, well it's just done by the track reporter, i believe!
