With ISMA coming to Delaware Speedway September 28/07.Myself and with some racefans I have talked to are concerned with the gate price for this one Reason
1) Delaware offering ISMA & Modifieds for $39.00
2) Berlin Raceway (Michigan ) next night is offering ISMA & Auto Value Super Sprints & USAC Sprints for $20.00 grandstand & $25.00 Pits ( U.S. Price )
Both tracks have Johnny Benson appearing driving a Super Modified. Benson is Part owner of Berlin also.As a racefan I would hate to say the best value for the buck hands down is Berlin reason being more racing (high calibure Auto Value Sprints& USAC Sprints plus ISMA).
Delaware do not get me wrong you have a good thing going (Traveling Shows)  but please put more racing into shows like this.I think the price ($39.00 ) is pretty steap for what you are offering.Take a good look at other tracks like Berlin price and what they offer.
This price at Delaware reminds me of Cayuga this year ( High prices & no racing classes to speak of ) and everybody knows what happened there this year. Take a good look and do not let it happen to you

Heh...that discussion happened last year about this time too. >>> REWIND

Good thing the gazillion fans that showed up for the race didn't share the same outlook.

Heh Shadowracer I was not on this site last year at this time. So what ever was said then I have no idea what was said. As for the gazillion fans you said I was one of those so called gazillion and i think it was between 3000- 4500 (Approx ).Can I ask you which track has the better show for racing and the dollar
Delaware or Berlin. Also the final statement reguarding Cayuga is that not right.
P.S. At no time am I slamming Delaware. This is just an opinion I think is valid .As I said Delaware take a look at other tracks to see what they offer in shows like this and then you willpossibly see your gazillion fans as Shadowracer put it

If you're an Enduro fan and want to do both, it's a good deal...I'm not sure I'd pay 40 bucks to go see solely the ISMA mods, but it's a different bunch who go to see them in the first place. Berlin probably has the better deal, but then again you'd lose any savings you had in mind paying to go to Berlin and back...I think a comparison between Delaware and Lancaster might be more valid (3 hours of travelling versus 7)...

Not to nitpick but if you are going to Berlin don't expect to see the USAC Sprints. You will see the ISMA and Auto Value cars as well as a cosanctioned MIDGET race with the USAC/UMARA/WOMS midgets.  It is still a great show.

More fuel for the fire the spectator tickets are 20 but you should know that pits are 25.  If you do go to watch you sit where you would like as long as there isn't a plastic name placard on that seat (season pass reserved seats)  You can use the seat if that person doesn't show but they can kick you out of it even if they show up late.

The drive to Berlin is 4 to 5 hours from London with a trailer on the back plus border and there are lots of clean cheap hotels on the way if you can't make the whole trip in one shot or if you are going to stop in Birch Run and really drain the bank account.

Berlin Pits open early and camping is availiable for this date according to the website.
