as i agree with you 33 the track is to big for a regular type mini stock division but you get 50-70 4 cyl-6-cyl cars running around the same times could be fun to watch and compete in. i am supporting this. the track wouldnt spend money on something that would be a wash. i think it will take time no different then the chaos cars did. as for mustangs and 240's and turbos super chargers its all about safety and making it comfortable for NEW DRIVERS to come out and compete.

Um I'd think you can leave anything with a power adder at home. John the term you seek to add is NORMAL ASPIRATED ENGINES ONLY that should clear up any dreams of supercharged Grand Ams lol

PUT A CLAIMER RULE ON THE ENTIRE CAR, THEN IT WILL BE A STOCK EVENT.

if you wish to build a 4 cyl division put the hold on modifications from the get go...

good luckk to all!

Personally, I think the all FWD concept is the perfect way to go at this time, and I have two perfectly good RWD ministocks sitting in my garage.
Car count is the issue and as a previous poster said, if you can hang 50- 70 cars out there, speeds wont matter there will be action everywhere.

Delaware too big for the 4 bangers?? It may turn out that Delaware is too small for the 4 bangers, I could potentially see 100-150 cars after the first year.I plan on building at least one and maybe 2 cars for this and the varney /sauble enduros but that wont happen until the 2012 season.

Keep the faith, you are on the right track. And seriously consider the claimer option as noted above.

What $ figure could you put for a claimer,  these cars are going to cost a bit to get them on the track and be safe.

Lets say you go to the scrap yard to gey your car,
Car- $200 (Minimium)
roll cage- $300
racing seat- 200$
5 point harness- 100
fuel cell -150
You are up to almost $1000 and thats without new brakes or anything else that the car might need.
