If a car is coming up from behind you and you give that car a lane to pass, there should be no issue. 99% of the bump and runs during a race....(fill in the blank)
It just about always gets ugly when you pass with a bump and run and don't get far enough ahead. Be prepared for retaliation, just as Walters and Mitchell's took each other out at AC and Keselowski / Edwards did a few times this year in Cup.
Agreed on all counts, if you're bumping and ain't quick enough to get ahead, yur getting it back with interest
Yep....sure are....

Been on both sides of that deal and it really isn't good racing.I've had slow cars in front that won't give you a lane to race them,so you give em a bump, not to move them, but to let them know you're there and would like a little room.I've had guys beating on the back of my car when I'm behind two or three other cars and have nowhere to go.It takes a lot of skill to take a little time and set a guy up for a pass. You never saw Jr Hanley banging people out of the way,but I saw him get wrecked like that a few times. On the other side of the coin I've been the slower car on occasion.I'll give a guy lots of room, and a lane at all times. Now if I give him room, and a lane, and he still boofs me out of the way,or spins me out,I can pretty much guarantee that he ain't gonna finish the race.
If you listen the 31 was declared the winner, and rightly so. That 0 cars was not good enough to be out front.
