Well for me it was a comedy of errors trying to see this thing. First thing was I got out there, camera in hand, but two hours early...thinking that it was at 11 instead of one.
My second mistake was making the assumption that
through the city’s downtown core via York Street and Richmond Street before heading down Oxford Street and returning to the Western Fair.
meant that the "parade" would actually go down Oxford St, instead of turning onto Oxford for a grand total of one block before cutting down a side street.
So, yeah, I saw the group, pace truck and lights-a-flashing, but from about three blocks away as they turned south again. Had the perfect spot, and the perfect shots lined up too.
Guess I should have Twittered them for clarification on the route. 😉
No skin off my nose....I only live a block away from the spot I was waiting. Still a bit of a bummer though.

(I know the video footage is from the LFPress, but their website is being weird today. Pretty sure there's a print story in there somewhere.)
"But, even if people were inside one of the peaceful shops in the downtown core, they weren’t immune to the holler of an 850 horsepower late model car."
Somebody hasn't been through tech in a while ::) LOL 😉
Mildly drift = massive burnout/donuts by Watson.
According to various Facebook conversations,
(because, of course, we wouldn't wanna do it here.:(),
it looks like Watson might have gotten himself into a little hot water about the burnout donuts he did in the middle of one of the major intersections.
(see the vid...I think its right at Dundas and Wellington.)
