I will just briefly address this: there was a brief investigation, a follow up to the first-ever downtown parade.  Things seem to be completed to satisfaction at this time.

Many lessons were learned on our first downtown parade - - special thanks to the drivers and fans, and the London Police Service for their professionalism.

Thanx for the reply John. CTV2 didn't do a very good job with their 30 second spot. Without explaining anything they came out with the investigation line which kind of took away from the point of why this was done. I was left shaking my head a bit. LFP so far has crickets chirping. I would like to congratulate you, the drivers, the track and whoever helped you through the hoops at City Hall to allow this to happen.  Wish I could have been downtown to watch the reactions. This was a great idea that I am sure will get some buzz going with the people that saw the cars go by and wondered what was going on.
