I understand why you guys are upset and yes the weather turned out to be great but when EC puts out a storm warning that includes the possibility of violent thunderstorms, hail and the always ever present danger of tornados then the track really has no choice. They should have called Thayne LOL! Here in east London the clouds had that 'look' to them. You know the look that makes you check for a good spot in the basement just in case. EC seems to put these alerts out for too long these days IMO but they are probably doing CYA also. There is a difference between rain and storms. The track and you guys got hung out on this one. It happens. Keep up your lobbying of the track for a rain date and see what happens. October has lots of good weather.

I think they sould rain date it to one of the open saturdays in Aug. and let us put on a show that the people in the stands come to see

On the night of the Busch show folks it rained very heavily in London east and there were clouds hanging just east of the track. In the summer time it is not uncomon to see the hit and miss of rain around you. The raindate make ups are a must and October might be ideal for these, maybe a few Chain races, and KOH thrown it to boot and the bean pot at the grill.

I say Free Hot Dogs from the track on the 30th for the Enduro guys!! That, or we will bring a BBQ and fire it up outside the track before the race. Bring dogs, I'll burn em.
