Just curious how come you didn't race much this year Dan?

Please read the topic about the Delaware Modifieds, what happens when a class gets too expensive.  Will a rack be cheaper than a  quick ratio box?  Will you steering column connect to the rack? Will it make the racing better?  How often have you broke a steering box?  I don't see costing guys money to something that it isn't worth.   If your changing alot of steering boxes you better order racks in quantity, your get a discount!

Ford Mustang FOX body (81-1999) rack from APC is 150 bucks, on an expensive day. Easiest one to set up, as it uses most of the same fittings as some GM's, and mount points are super easy to make.

Ford F-series pickups, use a typical setup, with a lightweight P/S pump. You can easily underdrive it by not hooking up the bypass solenoid in it. Instead of 2500 PSI max, you get like 800.

Dodge fullsize uses a same setup, but runs more PSI

Umm how about no way to racks, and I'm not sure how a quickener takes away feel? What ratio box are you looking for I have few around here. There is a guy in Brantford that does custom boxes. They boxes are out there you just need to know where to get them

he's probably talking about the standard saginaw box with the corvette worm gear, last place i heard of to get those worm gears was lefthander, but i haven't checked lately, getting pretty tough to find that stuff, the last year i raced i was down to one worm gear left so i switched to running a power box as a manual lol

I can probably get those custom made from a supplier I deal with, If I had a sample. Allot of guys use the the 605 box with a 1.5 steering quickner but that is on a power box. I sell quite a few of them too guys in the states and generally get more for them than I do the 800 Saginaws
