There's ten or so different ones that are stock aluminum, The picture I saw at some point ( i looked back thru) resembled a NoS cast aluminum one (shorty style). Many are reverse flow though, so you need to actually pull it apart and determine which it is. Reason I say that is, it has happened to me. Someone put the wrong pump in the box, or I bought the wrong one. Pretty sure I bought the right one, being I've done this since high school. If you want, I will get GM part #'s for you today. Mainly because I would like to see it as legal.

I'd like to put manual rack and pinion in my car.

It's almost impossible to find a fast ratio manual box from a junk yard any more and the sector shafts are no longer beng built to convert to fix a quick ratio box.

So to get quicket steering now you need to go to a power box which adds weight and complexity, buy a after market box ($400US) and still you can't get the sector shaft (don't know why), add a steering quickner that takes away feel.

How about rule change alow us to run a rack.
