I'm sure that he is a great guy, and a great driver, but I think that proves my point even more. Safety certificate? No. Roll cage? No. Street legal? No. It does not matter if he claims the prize money or not, he is still out there racing.

Here's a question... What about the four fun class at Sunset? How are those cars any safer than street cars? They have a hoop behind the driver but that's about it. Barrie used to run Junkyard Dog (sometime in the mid to late 80's) that was kind of similar but it disappeared around 1990. I pretty well guarantee that those four funs wouldn't fare much better in the same crash as occurred Saturday night. So should we have a completely sterile society where people are not allowed to have fun doing the things they like to do? No skydiving, drag racing, base jumping, any extreme sport? Is that the direction the world should be heading? You have to take responsibility for your decisions and if you choose to try to drive your street car faster than it should be driven in a corner on a speedway something is going to happen and it's not going to be good.

Hey the king of the hill can be a lot of fun and  the crowed loves it
safety allways has to come first, a helmet must be worn as everybody knows what the risks are.
If you go skiing is it the hills fault if you hit a tree No did not think so and look at how many people are wearing helmets o ya look at the ticket read the fine print.
the point is we are all responsable for are own safety and well being there is always somebody that thinks they know what is best for everybody else and if they don't like it they think it should be stopped

Heck  a couple of years ago there was a motor home running, king of the hill before a cascar race out west that was fun to watch

Hahaha, a motorhome. That I would like to see. I guess that's kind of like the schoolbus races at Sunset...
