All we can assume at this point by the track's silence is that it is being investigated.

It likely is being investigated, however the track's silence doesn't mean anything. They do it in house and do not make announcements regarding disqualification / disciplinary measures...so don't expect a news release about it either way.

Only way to know for sure how it panned out is to see which cars show up on Friday.

I don't post here very often but I figured I would chime in having a young son who has been racing for 9 years (he's 16). As shadow mentioned earlier, when Jaxon got in over his head and did over $10k damage to Gary Elliott's late model at Sunset, Gary  just chalked  it up to being a racing deal. Then he figured out it was a 14 year old kid that just destroyed his car.  You would think the #1 team would have learned a little respect for their fellow competitors. The bottom line is my son has probably 2x the experience (Grand Bend Micro Sprints 7 yrs, 2 yrs on dirt Chestermans, 1 yr Vintage Modifieds, currently driving 440 micros at Wonderland Speedway ... and  I wouldn't even consider puting him in a full blown pro late model without giving him seat time in a mini stock, truck or a super stock. Obviously parents are living through their children's eyes or have way too much money.

A few weeks ago Michael Waltrip "loses" his suit and equipment at Delaware and now this. Is there no security at the track?

I would assume based on this past weekend a release from the track... unless of course the Newmans have already served all with a lawsuit...

the track used to post all on the web when Sherdian was running the show... but then he never had a mess like this to deal with?
