Hey Dale, thanks for dropping by.

I didn't actually see any punches thrown either...I was pretty sure that didn't happen.

The internet being what it is, rumors will fly. Especially since we're still adhering the "Ron Sinclair/CASCAR standard" of glossing this stuff over. People have to make up their own info based on conjecture.

If it makes you feel any better, most of this is basically a discussion on the whole issue of driver conflict, and not so much about your situation in particular.

I'm glad the 88 car will be back!

Actually the announcers are trying to incorporate the MRN Racing theme that you here with Nextel Cup where there is an announcer at pretty much every turn of the track. For the most part it sound a heck of alot more exciting, it's John needs to pick things up just a little quicker from Chris at turn 4. Other than that the people who went with me last week thought it was great...

Not sure exactly what post you're referring to. But yeah, it seems like that's what they're trying to emulate.

Its working.

It's a new system with a few kinks, but getting better every week.

I know part of the reason John can be delayed in the pickup is that he is sifting through a pile of information.  He's running the soundboard and watching an audio monitor to make sure all three announcers are as balanced as possible, as well as listening accross to scoring receiving various updates from scoring to deliver out to the fans and other announcers...  Not to mention watching the race - - so sometimes the pickup can be delayed a bit.  Sometimes it's better to just keep quiet instead of trying to pick up when you didn't hear what the last guy said! 😮  I bet MRN has a crew of technicians to do all that stuff for them.

I know all three announcers are working together to keep making improvements everyweek and are very interested in fan feedback on the new system.

Plus a moment or two of quiet over the PA never hurt anyone - - somtimes it can be a bit of a break for the fans for just a moment to take in the thunder! ;D

Edit: P.S. how did this end up in the night 2 report? lol.  The announcers didn't even try the new system until the second enduro! 🙂

I think the reason John can be delayed in picking it up is because he's to busy "sampling" the fries and cheeseburgers from the concessions  ;D
