As JWO picture illustrates those famous words NOT AGAIN come to mind. Labour. I was involved with JCAR also and if there was the one thing all involved would tell you, it is remarkable what these bodies indure and how upstarts kept the machines in the weekly lineups.

i was not comparing the late model chassis to the super stock chassis at all, just a shame to see you guys make the switch to fiberglass, all your cars will appear to be late models, thats all.  and im not trying to bash anyone at all, i give full credit to guys who work on their cars, i just dont agree with fiberglass bodies, thats all.  i understand the remove and replace, do it everyday, but sometimes its just easier to hammer some dents out, thats what im getting at, and fiberglass is itchy as hell, where as steel isnt.  delaware has THE BEST looking cars around, i wish we raced there for that reason, im huge on appearance of cars and you guys are the best at it, the older cars look amazing, its nice to see, i just would hate to see 40+ cars that look like late models.  its great you guys are changing rules a bit, i would just rather see steel bodies cars instead, jmo.  not trying to start anything with you guys, just dont want to see your change to fiberglass, unless its just fenders forward.... http://picasaweb.google.com/robpooleracing45/SunsetSpeedway20100605#5479522398040739794 this is the car we built using steel, mostly stock panels, so it can be done with steel, and not too diffucult to build, and like i said there are also impala and a 300c, using stock panels also, would rather see you guys go this way, maybe with plastic fenders etc, i tried for that in the rules but they wouldnt let us.....

Once a few get out there, it will be just fine. For those of you who refuse to move ahead... just have to look at all the deceased tracks across the country. Forward thinking, is the only way to keep something alive. I sincerely believe this is the only way to keep this class going. How many Chargers, 300's new Camaro's you see in the boneyards, or on someone's front lawns for 300 bucks?? We need this chassis.

there are lots of new cars in the wreckers, just got to look for them, not in your local wreckers, online, thats where we got the roof for the mustang we built, it was in cambridge, and im in barrie.

also was just wondering who makes those bodies and how much do they cost??? and what other models are available??? if your into camaro bodies then check out camarocup.com, based out of sweden, will need to be translated, but you can buy bodies from them, and they look incredible, and they are fiberglass.  sorry to irritate anyone, not my intentions at all.

The bodies for the new SS were carefully thought about. re: fitting over the old chassis like the nova, camaro and even the metric cars. AS FOR BEING A LATE MODEL. If you were to park a 2010 street camaro beside it (AND WE HAVE) YOU will see it is as stock as we can be with out copyright. The doors and quarters are flat at the request of racers, chassis builders, decal installers and track promoters. THE TECK PEOPLE Have ask us to come up with some thing that is easy to POLICE and all the cars will have parity. Not novas that have3 inches chopped out of the roofs were the next guy has stock roof ect. I could go on & on.....Like i said a LOT of thought went into designing the bodies so LOOK at all the factors before you Judge...........

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR INPUT GOOD OR BAD I LOVE DISCUSSION......... gives us something to talk about in the off season...      KEEP TYPING

Paintbywatson        Ask jworacing how much time was spent looking for, picking up,stripping & fitting scavenged parts for his car just to have to do it all again the next week... As for were the bodies come from they are designed and built in lambeth ont.for now, a new company has been started with racing in mind. The cost of the bodies has yet to be finalized due to the fact we have been working our buts off to get this out this year,BUT let me tell you this they WILL NOT COST A ARM OR A LEG. Our intention is to keep it inexpensive or this deal won't work............ We want to have a good looking class of cars so the racers in ontario can get better sponsors a be able to spend more time on the chassis set up and not body work. Glass bodies are very flexible if the rite product is used in the making. As for models being offered CAMARO, MUSTANG,CHALLENGER.

DISCUSSION IS GOOD...... KEEP TYPING....
